-
Why can't I mod a Nintendoâ„¢ Product? This is due to Nintendoâ„¢ being strict on modding/fan games in recent years. The last thing we want is someone to mod a Nintendoâ„¢ game and receive a cease and desist, or worse, we get in trouble. Try to avoid this at all costs.

Are you going to remove controversial mods like Nexus Mods has in the past?Nexus Mods has removed mods in the past like the Spider-Man American Flag mod due to the mod and or modder not being LGBTQIA+ friendly or the anti-pronouns mod from Starfield. Just like Nexus Mods, we choose what we let modders host. We want to try to make this website as clean as possible with speech and actions. However, We also aim to be more lenient than Nexus Mods on this issue as we are strong supporters of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. This is not a left-wing or right-wing issue to us. We will not take down mods just because we think the mod is toxic. We value freedom for our modders as much as possible as this can boost creativity. obscenity, child pornography, defamatory speech, false advertising, true threats, and fighting words are the only categories not protected by the First Amendment. We plan to follow the First Amendment as much as possible while trying to keep our community safe from harm. Profanity and Criticism of other people's Mods are allowed as well, just please do not threaten people or violate rules. If you do so, you are at risk of being banned. It also depends on the situation with these issues. We do not encourage a one-size-fits-all corporate approach to address these issues. However, If you have anything to report that you find to break the website's rules or group rules, Contact Us.
